Browned The Iron Parts:
For the barrel, I used Laurel Mountain Barrel Browner and
Degreaser. It worked great.

Before I browned the cock assembly, I wanted to flatten the two
sides of the cock screw head and drill a 3/32" hole thru the head. This
allows for easier tightening of the flint in the head of the cock of the
hammer.
I also engraved the heads of the screws.
I used Plum Brown and hot browned all the other parts. Once I reached
the color I wanted, I scrubbed them down with baking soda and then let them soak
in a bath of old motor oil.
