Install Trigger Plate:
There was a lot of wood missing in the trigger plate area. I had to use wood putty in order to create a foundation for the trigger plate to rest on. The plate was reinletted so it was flush with the stock.
With the plate flush, I drilled and installed a #4 wood screw to secure the plate to the stock.
With the plate secure, I can now drill and tap the tang bolt next.
