Cheek inlay installed and engraved the barrel:

We inlayed the eagle inlay on the check. Due to the previous engraving, we soldered a no. 4 screw on to the  back of the inlay, bored a hole into the stock and then epoxied the inlay onto the cheek of the rifle. The epoxy was rated to be good down to -40 degrees.  This seated the inlay really well and held fast to the stock.

Then I engraved Brian's name on the top flat of the rifle and numbered the rifle, "No. 1".

The name he chose for the rifle was "SEMPER FIDELIS", since Brian was a former Marine. 2009-02-12A 012.JPG (226441 bytes)

Since the patch box needed to be burnished, Brian learned how to do this and gave it a mirror finish. 2009-02-12A 007.JPG (221506 bytes) You can almost see him in the image of taking the photo. I really shined up well.

Now we are ready to stain the stock and apply the oil.
