Stock Carvings & Incised Lines:
Added incised lines along either side of the ramrod channel.
These were 5/16" in from the ramrod channel. 
In the area of the rear thimble, the lines came up into the spiral. 
Incised lines were cut into either side of the butt stock, too. 
At the wrist, a swirl was incised into the wood on either side of the stock. Here are a few photos:
