Here are a series of photos with both the 180 year old rifle laying next to the rifle I just finished.  The new rifle is not an exact match, but that was not what neither Mike, nor myself wanted to do.  However, we did want to make newer rifle of the same vintage so he could take the rifle hunting or target shooting.  The original rifle is on top and my project is below it.
